Hamsa

Mixed media on paper. Inspired by a family heirloom: a silver amulet created according to the teachings of Hakham Fetaya. I wove various lyrics and poems, both historic and current, to form a modern amulet: an uplifting piece in light of recent events.Includes handwritten excerpts from the works of Hanan Ben Ari, Rabbi Yehuda Halevi, Hakham Yehuda Fetaya, and Ness & Stilla. Lyrics and texts are used for artistic and interpretive purposes only.
